The club have announced that the Irish game will be behind
closed doors (no news there) but it must mean that currently
they are confident we will be playing

Irish v Saints is off due to positive tests in the Irish camp so
a reasonable chance our game with them will also be off.

How does that work with Briz then as I thought they had also
declared a player testing positive but were allowed to still
play?

**Shrugs shoulders. I know Bristol have said they can name a
front row despite 1 positive and other isolating.
From the Irish DOR
“We're disappointed because we feel we still had a strong group
of players to select from, but due to Public Health England
guidelines, we've been told we’re not allowed to play the game.”

Apparently they (Bristol) have 11 front row players on the books
plus 2 academy front rowers.

The entire situation has got out of control, making this whole
premiership campaign meaningless for all clubs. Nobody can be
pleased with any trophies etc ‘won’ in these circumstances (not
even Sarries), and it would be dreadful for a club to be
relegated on the strength of not being able to fulfil fixtures
which they might otherwise have been confidently expecting 4/5
points.
Just play what games are possible and start again next
September.
