What do you mean by facilities exactly? I assume you don't mean
their tiny stadium (which their even tinier fanbase rattles
around in).
I don't think money alone is enough; that just encourages
"takeovers" by rich backers rather than a sustainable club
growing in a more natural way - like Exeter. We need more sides
like Exeter and fewer like Ealing.

Personally I'd rather look forward to all affected at all clubs
making a full recovery but I appreciate some people like to
behave like children.

Wuss calling...firstly, hope any COVID positive players avoid
serious problems, the new variant seems to be spreading faster
than a Neil Fissler recruitment rumour.
Secondly, it’ll be very interesting to see what the points
allocation will be, we couldn’t score against the Blind School
wearing straight-jackets at the moment, but we have at least
managed to avoid infections up to yet. Dies than mean we’ll be
given the win?
Mr Winstanley says he’s not going to allocate blame, only
responsibility!
HTF does that work?
Keep the faith, it’ll all turn out all right in the end,
whatever Hugo thinks.

Saints got some positive cases. Nothing about the game not being
played though.....yet. I think there is a round of testing on
Thursday. I would not be surprised if one or two more get
called off. I wonder what would happen if after the next round
of Tests, Worcs has some cases that would stop them playing.
Would we both then just get the 2?!?!

Did I also see Bristol gave a player with covid. But they were
happy the protocols were followed and they would be playing at
the weekend. Odd decision if true.

It comes down to the fact that our affected player had been in
contact with others in the front row who were then forced to
self-isolate for safety. That left us without sufficient fit
players to field a team. Other squads may have enough fir
replacements that hadn't been in contact with an infected
player.
As for where this leaves the season, I'd say the odds on
ring-fencing are narrowing on ring-fencing taking place at the
end of the season. Imagine a club getting relegated by a couple
of points where one of their games was called off after a player
testing positive. They'd rightly kick up a fuss. Another
scenario: There's an outbreak at Exeter meaning they have to
cancel their game against, say, Gloucester. Gloucs end up
surviving relegation by being a table point ahead Worcester. If
you were Worcester, would *you* be happy being relegated that
way?
If it's ring-fencing, do we go with 13 or 14 teams? There's
obvious benefits with having 14 clubs, as it makes it easier to
create the fixture list, especially if they go the 2-conerence
system the Pro14 use. The downside is no-one's really happy with
who the 14th club would be. None of the clubs in the
Championship have a ground that can hold more than 5k, and in
most cases a lot of the capacity is standing. If they go for 13
clubs, then it makes fixtures more of a mess as clubs will have
certain games they want at certain times (e.g. Big Game, Sarries
playing us at Spurs' ground etc).

Monday: All clubs tested. Harlequins train, Bristol do not.
Tuesday: Results back, one front-rower positive from both clubs.
Bristol return to training without positive player and close
contacts who now isolate.
Wednesday: Harlequins game off, Bristol game going ahead.

Maybe Bristol have enough front row unaffected. It did state
that we didn’t have enough front row that were available as we
have injuries as well.

As it was Quins who called it off I would assume Wuss will get 4
points, Quins get 2. Seems to be the pattern with the other
called off games.
It would keep our away record going well this season with 12
points from 3 games, cant complain!
