Team's up to face Racing 92

HARLEQUINS NAME TEAM TO HOST RACING 92 IN FIRST HOME HEINEKEN
CHAMPIONS CUP GAME OF THE SEASON
Head of Rugby Paul Gustard has named the Quins team to face
French side Racing 92 at The Twickenham Stoop this Sunday, live
       on BT Sport.
Gustard has made two changes to the starting line-up, with last
week’s Impact Player Tom Lawday stepping in to start at
blindside flanker in the pack, while outside centre Joe Marchant
returns to the starting line-up for the first time this season.
Alex Dombrandt continues to lead the side from number eight in
absence of injured second row and Club Captain Stephan Lewies.
Mike Brown earns his 50th tournament appearance in the fifteen
jersey, while continuing to extend his run as the most capped
player in the Club’s history with over 330 appearances to his
       name.
Commenting ahead of the game, Gustard said: “Whilst we were
disappointed to come away from Munster with nothing in the game
in terms of points, we can take great heart from large aspects
of our performance knowing that we were architects of the result
in many ways. Very few teams travel well in Thomond park and we
had put ourselves in a good position. But unfortunately, key
moments and decisions cost us heavily.
“The group remains confident and I am delighted with the growth
of our team with their reflection and appetite to improve. Which
we know we must in order to overcome a formidable Racing 92 team
who have been finalists in this competition twice in the last
       three years.
“They have a litany of international talent who are in form and
are one of the most dangerous teams in the competition.
“We are disappointed that due to current restrictions a game of
this stature will not be in front of some of our fans. But we
have prepared well, picked a strong team, and we look forward to
       the challenge on Sunday
“It is also great to see two of Harlequins’ finest ever players
reach 50 European games. Firstly in Danny Care, who played his
50th European game last weekend. And secondly, in Mike brown,
Quins' record appearance holder, make his 50th European game
       against Racing.”

Happy to see Marchant back in the team, we will need his
defensive abilities against the backline of Russell and Beale.
Looks like Louw is in for another 80 minute performance barring
injury, will Kerrod be available next week?

Should be a cracker. Glad to see Marchant back, although tough
on Northmore who has been excellent recently, with the error for
the Simmonds try the only blot on his copy book.
       Beale's a quality player, but haven't seen him play 13 for a
good while. Might be a defensive weak line, if we can get enough
of the ball in hand to test him!

Marchant for Earle and Northmore at 13 would be an improvement.
As said Earle has not bee the same since his return. Confidence
       or still not 100%?

I would say confidence. He was out for an awful long time.
Having undergone two knee surgeries myself, it does take time to
build confidence in your body again. You can train as much as
you like, but its only when you're back in the thick of it you
can get over the mental barrier.
There have been shoots of improvement in his game over the last
few weeks and he has notched a few tries. For me, we need to be
a little more patience but I think he will get back to full
       form.

Why did we need to rest Marchant due to being called up for
England, but didn't need to rest Marler?

I haven't seen any communications from the club regarding a BT
day pass to watch the game.
Does anyone know if there is an option to get a day pass to
       watch this game?
There is a monthly pass from BT - but it is quite an expensive
       option to watch one game.

Chances are Marler will be rested in the next few weeks. The
PRL/RFU deal defines blocks of games where players in the
England squad must be rested, but it is within the club's
control as to which game is picked. Plus, Marler was
training/coming back from injury for most of the international
       window.

Imagine Marler will be kept until the Bristol game, going up
against Sinckler should be a really interesting battle. Then for
the Worcester and Irish games, let Els/Botta swap round and get
       some game time.
