Chiefs have Covid

Toulouse match is cancelled ‘a number of Chiefs players and
staff have tested positive’ and it has impacted Glasgow who have
now had to isolate. ‘ Club is now unable to field a match day
squad of the appropriate standard. Resolution Committee will
decide result.

According to D.tel 16 players and 2 staff from 2 Premiership
Clubs have tested positive this week so there must be more to
come.

Bath’s game is also cancelled as they are isolating as someone
at Scarlets has Covid.

Is some one able to explain how the Scarlets v Toulon game can
go ahead with positive COVID tests at Scarlets?
This looks similar to the situation where Sale still played
Northampton after having a positive test and left Saints having
to cancel to following week.

It was initially, but from the Diamond interview on BT I
understood that they were aware of the correct test result
before the Saints game took place.

Toulon are refusing to play Scarlets even though they isolated
all the players involved in Bath match and picked other players.
Match off for now! Getting quite farcical now.
