Good to see Karl Dickson reverse a knock on scrum for Sale into
a penalty for Gloucester when Jono Ross (Sale) mockingly patted
the head of the player who knocked on.
It's always been part of the game, but it's incendiary and in my
view, ungentlemanly.
(seconds later, Ross makes a no-arms tackle and gets a yellow)

Agreed. But as always, it's about the refs being consistent in
their approach.

Or the laws in general. Yesterday in the Exeter match during a
ruck a Wasps player came through and hacked at the ball to kick
it forward, this wasn't picked up by any of the officiating
team. I thought you could only hook the ball backwards with your
foot in a ruck whilst on your feet and anything else is a
penalty, might be wrong though.

Karl Dickson gave Billie 12trees a yellow card for pushing
Sale’s water carrier out the way yesterday Sale went on to win.
Should enhance his Shed reception next time he is at Glos.

For completeness Dickson also removed the water carrier from the
game for preventing Twelvetrees from gathering the ball which
had gone out of play. Twelvetrees was carded for reacting to the
water carrier's actions. Both correct decisions in my view.

Water carrier should have minded his own business. The ball
never came "at" him, he made a move to get it.

Water carrier took one for the team. It stopped 12 3s taking a
quick line out. Cynical but Billy shouldn’t have shoved him as I
think Gloucester would have had a penalty anyway.
