Looking at the RIL twitter about the Cipriani story there
appears to be quite a few people convinced Smith is on his way
to Bath. Can't see anything in it, I would have thought he is on
a long term deal and the buy out would be significant, although
an earlier report said his deal ends 2021.
Edit: I do wonder if a lot of it is based on hope from the story
earlier in the season about it.

Good to see Smith’s agent is doing his job, then.

Would be a gamble and probably not worth it in my view. He does
seem to be a bit of a marmite character and there appears to be
a good spirit within the squad which isn't worth unbalancing for
a back up FH.

According to ruck.co.uk Bath are favourites to sign Cipriani
with Sale and Northampton taking an interest. In the same
article about 5 superstar free agents they also think Kyle
Eastmond could be coming to Quins.

The same Kyle Eastmond that tried to decapitate 2 of our players
a couple of seasons ago?! He's sure to get a warm welcome!

Now if Sinoti Sinoti is available and reasonable price I would
like to see him in the quarters. I think he is a very exciting
player

doubt he'd be very expensive at this stage of his career and I'd
be surprised if he's still the sort of character who could have
a deleterious effect on a whole squad or even a significant part
of a squad.

And if he gets ideas above his station, remind Ester how to
treat Losscester fly halves ;)

Don’t forget he very rarely kicked for Gloucester. Most of those
points are tries.

He's also a 35 year old winger! No thanks!

Cipriani... absolutely not. Not for the rest of the season, not
even for 20 minutes. No.
He does all the flash stuff and absolutely none of the basics.
Can't control a game for toffee. Divisive character. Baggage.
Neeeooowp.
Full stop.
