Crack on... living with a dangerous virus with an exponential
rate of infection, that'll kill a lot of "healthy" people and
make many more very sick, possibly with permanent damage,
overwhelming our health services and causing a huge number of
excess deaths. While tanking the economy, because widespread
disease means people can't work.
Please can we not pretend that "vulnerable people get shielded,
everyone else carries on" is a viable approach?

I suspect that the Women's game against Sarries won't be
happening either. Which is a shame as I was looking forward to
that.
It was a shame that the last women's home game was behind closed
doors. (I have no idea why??)

The government has confirmed that London will move from Tier 2
to Tier 3 from Wednesday 16th December. The next government
review of the COVID tiering system is 23rd December.
Unfortunately, this means that our proposed up-coming match
against Racing 92, with 2,000 supporters in attendance will now
be played behind closed doors, with no supporters, while our
subsequent matches remain with some uncertainty at this stage.
Harlequins vs Racing 92, Heineken Champions Cup (Sunday 20th
December 2020)
Harlequins vs Bristol, Gallagher Premiership (Sat 26th December
2020)
Harlequins Women vs Saracens Women, Allianz Premier15s (Saturday
2nd January 2021)
Harlequins vs London Irish, Gallagher Premiership (Sunday 10th
January 2021)

As I said, hardly surprising given that there's only 6 days
between the Racing and Bristol games, including Christmas Day,
so little chance for the tiers to be changed.

. . . and just to reply on all the other points above - - -
Down with the Tier 3 restrictions . . . unless of course, they
are later proved to be a good thing, in which case, I am all for
them.

And 400 metres away from The Stoop, the London Borough of
Hounslow has considerably more. London Borough boundaries mean
something when it comes to council services and policing, but
not that much more.
