I can remember the 2012 AP Final starting XV off the top of my
head (and a couple of the replacements), and I could probably
reconstruct some of the Challenge Cup teams from memory. Beyond
that, I’m struggling.

I had no problems with naming any of them 2011 onwards. Its
particularly interesting to look at the 2013 LV cup winning team
and see how many of the youngsters failed to fulfill their
promise - that might seem a bit harsh, but I do think that team
was a case of coulda/woulda/shoulda. However, pre-2011, which
was when I became an ST, I could only name prominent
internationals, which I guess just goes to show I didn't watch
much club rugby as a younger man! I'd also forgotten (again)
that a certain No.8 played for us in the same year that he won
the RWC with Australia .

Great game, cheers. Surprised myself at how many I knew, but
disappointed at totally forgetting the existence of Pat
Sanderson.

I was at all but one of those matches, and up in my loft I have
match day programs for same. But, to be honest, I would not be
able to complete this challenge without looking at the programs.
Great challenge.
