Ermmm....We've had that particular weakness since John Kingston
ceased to be scrum coach and it's been exposed by various teams
of various ability for a number of years. You can't pretend this
has come as a great surprise.

The article just doesn’t make sense,
“ We are trying to regenerate it and start growing and this
club has only been in the top four a total of four times in 20
years and the Premiership title (2012) was an anomaly and we are
trying to find consistency and we are pushing in the right
direction.
Comments like this about the top 4, it’s no relevance on this
season, it’s his team, and if he really wanted youth how have
they let so many youngsters go?

More weak excuses. Not my squad. We're always midtable so what
do you expect. We lasted 70 minutes before imploding.
Defeatist mindset. And he's signed old players anyway, so not
sure this makes much sense

Not in terms of being unable to defend a rolling maul! That's
five years in. Wow!

“We are working on an all-court game and of course we know
the DNA of the club is attack but that is ultimately one facet
of the game. We are all working on a bigger vision for the club
and were finished two wins behind the team that finished
fourth."
This bit probably sums up the confusion in Gustard's roadmap.
"All-court game" ???
If the team doesn't know how to attack - as in the second half
against Exeter - how can they expect to win any game.
And, to be factual, Quins actually finished four wins behind
Sale in fourth - not two wins.
By the same token, had the team lost four more games they would
have finished in the bottom four.
