I remember our legendary seer calling Gustard out very early as
not being a particularly nice bloke and full of himself. I’ve
seen nothing to suggest arniepie was wrong or that his approach
has helped the players.

I was in the first half impressed with the defence. The line
sped was excellent and put the Chiefs under real pressure.
Yes, mistakes happen and Northmore will be a better player for
that mistake. He had apart from that mistake an excellent game
and looks to have kicked on from his first pro season.
Esterhauzen will get better and better.
I have been critical of Glen Young, but he seems to be getting
better in the loose.
Garcia Botta had a poor game. Disappointing from an ex
international.
I like the looks of Louw and Kerrod at Tight head. We really
need Marler back.
It's not the end of the road for Gustard. I feel the team will
be motivated to perform better.

There has been absolutely nothing to suggest arniepie was right
about that. There's a few coaches who are clearly unpleasant and
it's obvious to everyone. Gustard seems like a nice guy -
possibly too nice - and we play like we're not afraid of the
coach as well.
In other words, extraordinary claims require extraordinary
proof. Arnie's contact is clearly bitter over something and
without knowing what, you should take those comments with a big
pinch of salt.

I suspect Arnie's contact was a player that Gustard released.

When Long left he said he was frustrated and argued with
Gustard, when he wanted to try something he was told “ No you
can’t do that” but when he spoke with other coaches via zoom was
told his ideas where right
So maybe it’s not such a great environment?

No. I’ve been told not to think something by Jammy so I shall
stop thinking it. Sorted!

I was very vocal about wanting JK out, results were simply not
good enough.
However, since he went, we've lost our identity and our academy.
At least under JK we lost trying to play nice rugby. Now we lose
playing boring rugby, with players who seemt o be picked up at
random from the bargain bin. There's no continuity, players like
Sink and Ibitoye are leaving, and there doesn't appear to be any
strategy to replace Brown, Care, Robshaw.

Towards the end of JK's time there was clearly something wrong
as most of the players didn't look like they cared. It hasn't
got that bad yet.
However, we don't yet have evidence that Gustard is a good
coach. Last night it looked like we were trying Saracens
tactics without Saracens skill levels. We showed almost nothing
in attack and lost the kicking battle. We then failed to offer
any alternative when it wasn't working.

That's not even close to what I said.

To me despite all the changes in personnel under Gustard we
remain a very average mid-table team.
The difference is that for the majority of the time under JK we
seemed to have much more flair and spirit than we do now with
the latter in my opinion being due to the fact we had a lot of
players who had grown up together and/or played together for
years producing a bond together with an understanding of the
"Quins way".
Now under Gustard we are just a boring team in a boring league
that is increasingly dominated by bosh and we can't even do that
properly.
