It's depressing that we're trying to play dull rugby, despite
the soundbites about our "DNA'. It's equally depressing that
we're not good enough to execute a boring but simple and
effective game plan

Meh. It hasn't been tooooo bad but anything we have tried has
fallen apart, mostly due to Nathan Earle soiling himself.
Northmore and murley have been superb, try aside.

Earle is utterly useless tonight. Has anyone ever seen anything
from him that justifies having him in the team? Other than
having no-one else to choose from, obviously, in which case
might as well have him on the pitch rather than no-one. I'm not
doubting his commitment, just his skills. Just wish we had an
option available.

Let's take a guess at how many players at most will form the
Exeter human centipede (for want of a better term) in the second
40. Think the record for the 1st 40 was 5.

If this is Gussie’s ‘new modern game’ for which the team is
