Just announced.

That's got to make their preparations harder & make them even
more likely to finish lowly placed in the coming season...

Odd that Murphy became DoR as recently as 1 July and is leaving
after only a few months.
Is there conflict with Borthwick?

At no point has Murphy's coaching career ever convinced me.
Sour, unable to accept on-field decisions, unable to accept
blame, all while presiding over an extended humiliation of a
proud club. He just seems like an absolute spoofer coasting on
being a home crowd favourite as a player.

Interesting statement by Murphy in the press release (no, before
you ask, nothing about "something special happening") — " I want
to thank my wife Aneka and my two boys, and our new addition on
the way, for everything they have done for me and how they have
continued to make me a better player, coach and person."
Nice to see the contribution that the "new addition on the way"
has made to his success as a player, coach and person. If his
pep talks to the team were that well thought through, no wonder
he's leaving.

No real surprise, possibly underated as a player (although I
seem to remember him getting quite a few Ireland caps) but over
rated as a coach.

My Tigers friends feel its all going to pot there. Apparently,
they released Rory Underwood earlier this week from his position
on the board as well and they have a huge attachment to their ex
players still being involved.
Borthwick is going to have to pull some rabbits out next season.

Shame for Geordie, but hopefully Leicester will do well in the
21/22 season against the other teams in The
Championship...🤐
