If this was a match against a formidable opponent, I think I'd
agree. But I believe the point in playing players out of
position against weaker opponents is so that when you're in a
pickle against one of the big boys... everyone can stay calm! I
think it's worked to our advantage a few times and we have
incredible strength in depth now.
But who even knows if that's why Eddie's doing it!?!

Still a weird one. I think JJ is a pretty good defender on the
wing but so was Watson and the JJ/Watson defensive axis was
terrible against Italy.
Anyway, none of this is a real surprise. Eddie doesn't really
believe in the concept of picking anything but your best team
and only does so under duress. He'd pick the strongest 23 every
single match if he could get away with it.

After that display I think he’ll be back with Quins

I don't really know why Eddie selects backs. He would be better
choosing 5 more flankers

That was a very dull match..... Not sure you can take many
conclusions from it to be honest.

Eddie Jones....!
Why all the kicking, how about a backs move or two. Or even
passing to each other.
Farrell looks clueless. He is viewed as unstoppable which is
ridiculous. He had a poor game and lacks any spark. I don't
think he even challenged the line today.
Time for some youngsters to be blooded.

If Faz is not going to pass, then there is really no point in
having backs.
Why have a winger if he is only there to do defence. Maybe that
is why he put a centre on the wing.

Agreed. If you aren't going to try backs moves against Georgia
who pretty much have nothing outside of the forwards when are
you?

Maybe it’s all to do with what went wrong against South Africa.

What today showed was that Georgia are not good enough to join
the 6 nations. Italy are a step above them even if they are
only in the 6 nations to stop Scotland having a record number of
wooden spoons! Not that they would be getting the spoons at the
moment as they have picked up in the last 2 tears
