Would perhaps be useful if they could upload a pic to show us
what the 'specially designed' 10 years a member card looks like,
then we'll know whether we have had one or not.
As a former honours bar user without a premium membership, I
would also be interested to know for what reason certain
non-premium members have been given access to The Honours Bar -
as noted in the booklet. Sounds like sour grapes but isn't.
I'm just interested to know.

I don't know who's harvesting what data from this, but I don't
want to give Barclays or Visa my data or any insight into how I
spend my money. I don't want Quins to know how I choose to
spend my money away from the Stoop either (though I'm not sure
if they'd get that).
Also - I don't want to give a company my cash on a prepayment
basis for them to earn interest on.
Can you spend money at the club with other contactless cards
(it's been so long since I've been there that I can't remember)?
And, yes, I know that they'll also have data about me - I'd
rather limit the number of corporations who have my data for
them to analyse / sell / get hacked.

Yes, I think any contactless card is fine. Spending cash on the
other hand is pretty difficult!

On the mystoop site, under Payments, it just says "coming soon".

It did say in the email that they would contact us when it could
be activated. Here is the bit from the email:
How do I activate my new Harlequins Membership Card for payment?
The Club will be in contact shortly once the new Membership
cards can be activated for payment. Visit the exclusive Member’s
Area on the Club’s website to see a How To video guide to
activating your card for payment.

Having received our cards earlier today, I'm not sure that there
is one standard design. Both Mrs WildQuin and my cards have a
large "10" as part of the design, however rather than being gold
they are magenta in colour and don't show the stand (or an
Honours Bar "H"). Then again we do sit in the cheap(er) West
Stand seats :)

I guess card colours are supposed to reflect membership. I
received 2 plain golds for my debentures and 2 gold coloured
10's for my other memberships.
I've had all for 20 years so I'm assuming the aren't doing 10+
debenture cards
