HARLEQUINS TO FACE RACING 92 AND MUNSTER IN 2020/21 HEINEKEN
       CHAMPIONS CUP POOL STAGES
EPCR have today confirmed Harlequins’ pool opponents for the
2020/21 Champions Cup campaign, with the Club facing Top14
outfit Racing 92 and Pro14 side Munster in home and away
fixtures this season in four blockbuster clashes against two of
the most famous teams and grounds in European club rugby
       history.
Drawn in Pool B, Harlequins’ sixth-place standing from the
2019/20 Gallagher Premiership season saw the Club placed in tier
3 of the European draw, facing all non-English tier 2 opponents
       also drawn in Pool B.
The last time Harlequins were drawn in the pool stages with
Paris-based side Racing 92 came in the 2013/14 Champions Cup
season, with Quins finishing second in Pool 4 having claimed
victories in both fixtures against Racing.
This season marks the fourth time Harlequins have been drawn
with Munster in the pool stages, having faced the Irish side
during the 2004/05, 2001/02, 1997/98 campaigns. The last time
the Club faced Munster came during the 2012/13 quarter finals,
with Munster claiming a narrow 12-18 victory at The Twickenham
       Stoop that day.
Exact fixture dates for the 2020/21 Heineken Champions Cup
season will be announced over the coming week.
I really really hope we are back in stadiums to see this.

It's a bloody tough group... we'll be doing well to hold our own
       against that opposition.

Am I being really dense/missed something, or shouldn’t there be
a 4th team in the pool...?

To me this is an unnecessarily confusing format. Here are some
       dates:
       2020/21 season weekends
       Round 1 – 11/12/13 December 2020
       Round 2 – 18/19/20 December 2020
       Round 3 – 15/16/17 January 2021
       Round 4 – 22/23/24 January 2021
       Heineken Champions Cup quarter-finals, 1st leg – 2/3/4 April
       2021
       Challenge Cup Round of 16 – 2/3/4 April 2021
       Heineken Champions Cup quarter-finals, 2nd leg – 9/10/11 April
       2021
       Challenge Cup quarter-finals – 9/10/11 April 2021
       Semi-finals – 30 April – 1/2 May 2021
2021 finals – Stade Vélodrome, Marseille
Challenge Cup final – Friday 21 May
Heineken Champions Cup final – Saturday 22 May

That's about as tough as could be expected from the available
       teams.

In fairness, I dont think it matters who we get, we wont get
anywhere. Rather concentrate on the league and try to make an
       inroads there

Home and away against Racing and Munster = 4 games so only need
3 teams in the pool to do the 4 Rounds!

The competition is taking a different format next time around.

You will probably need to win all 4 games to qualify and even
       then may not!!!
