Why were they staying at a hotel in Mayfair?
What's wrong with Lensbury? Practice/training ground outside the
door, and only the fleshpots of Teddington to tempt them!

The press are so busy beating up Robshaw they can’t even get the
hotel right. Times saying Hilton and others Grosvenor House.
Cost of central London hotels peanuts at present with no
overseas or business visitors. England were at Lensbury and
would be far more expensive. The real idiot is Tom de Glanville
who has his whole rugby future ahead of him. Why go to Oxford
Circus some nice little Italians in Duke Street behind the
hotel?

The apology is hollow.
Not only did Robshaw lead 12 out from their top-notch hotel
bubble for a sneaky meal on Wednesday, he and others appear to
have kept quiet about going out the night before to a West End
bar and posing for photos with fans. All this after signing up
to Covid protocols for the game.
Robshaw's legacy for most rugby fans will now focus on two
events (1) the poor captain's decision that ultimately led to
England's exit from the WRC, and (2) this week's mindless
events.
What an ignominious and unprofessional way to retire from
English rugby.

I’ve said before that Robshaw’s decision v Wales wants wrong. It
was the lineout call that was error as well as the execution.
Japan also opted to go for the corner v South Africa. They got
the lineout right and there’s now a film dramatisation of the
game.

I hadn't seen anything suggesting Robshaw led the break out. Do
