I can't see the locals being happy with a 6 hour shutdown so
that a few thousand people can travel in to watch a rugby match.

I don't disagree BB but it strengthens our case if it's a quick
in and out, so to speak.
Take away their arguments and it's difficult to say no
repeatedly.

It seems pretty obvious to me. I keep hearing morons talking
about open air stadiums without any thought to how people get
there. Thousands of fans packed on trains like sardines to go
and watch sports out of town where there isn't the
infrastucture. People going to the opera in covent garden are
travelling from all corners of London by foot, car, taxi, bus,
tube etc, and there's much more capacity.
