Season Tickets

I note that Northampton are putting plans in place to stop
selling season tickets for next season due to uncertainty over
fans being allowed into the ground. I assume other clubs will
follow.

Reading that it looks like Saints are basically rolling forward
with the same sort of scheme that Quins have run covering the
end of this season, just stopping the sale of STs to any new or
existing STHs, while also ensuring that any existing STH will
not lose their seat if they don't commit before the deadline.I
would guess most clubs will adopt a similar stance.

I wouldn't be surprised if we follow Saints. Many years ago, I
recall Jon Salinger saying that we were fairly similar in
size/structure/organisation/set up to them.

Sorry, I’ve had zero information about my STs for 20/21 from the
club despite the money being continually taken out since April.
Have I missed something?
As an aside, I volunteered the rest of my 19/20 to the club only
to find the thanks was every ST Holder got into the ballot
whether or not they had volunteered their monies...then again
the capitulation that day...

To be fair to the club, whilst they did allow everyone into the
ballot, if you got selected and you'd not donated the rest of
your subscription then you only "won" the option to buy a ticket
at a higher price than the cost per game on your ST.
I also donated the remainder of my ticket and my boys', but I'm
fortunate that I didn't get furloughed or lose my job, and my
wife was furloughed on full pay including bonuses, so if
anything we're financially better off as a result of the
lockdown because a lot of the trivial discretionary spending
hasn't been able to happen. I also know a lot of people who
weren't so lucky. I understand your frustration, but at the
same time for each person who chose to have the money back even
though they didn't need it, I'm sure there were many more who
desperately did, and to deprive them of a little bit of light in
their darkness by not even giving them the chance to scrape
together enough for a single ticket would've seemed a little
cruel to me.
Of course, there's absolutely nothing I can say to argue with
your point about the team deciding to deprive them of that
little bit of light on the day! :)

Haven’t seen or heard anything ( Like everyone else) New
Although thought I’d seen we are expecting new cards, and wasn’t
it a special scarf or something like that along with a gold card
Understand in football they are talking about paying extra £15
per game that’s not televised, and wonder what the plan will be
for rugby

My understanding of the football situation is that the Premier
League decided to charge £15 per game pay per view for matches
which weren't scheduled to be televised. Huge numbers of
football fans have told them where to shove it, and many
supporters' groups have organised boycotts and encouraged fans
to donate to charity appeals instead. I believe LFC fans have
managed £120k+ to a local food bank so far! :)

You volunteered the money, it wasn't meant to be a bribe for
special treatment.

indeed. Both BT and Sky want to scrap it because its doing their
reputation such harm.
What makes it worse is that the best games are televised anyway,
so the smaller clubs' fans are the ones who get shafted.
15 quid for villa Leeds on Friday...
