they used to give membership of a sorts to NHS staff at nearby
Queen Mary’s Hospital. There were rumours couple of years ago
the ground was being sold presume the rugby club still play
       there?

I believe that the BoE facilities were sold earlier this year
       (unsubstantiated).

No. They were supposedly veeeeeery close to closing the deal,
and then COVID happened (I have also heard some rumours about
what happened during the sale process but I can't confirm them).
The sports club as an entity is no more; Mini/youth rugby are
still playing on the pitches on Sundays (along with Pathfinders
hockey on the astro) but are being charged a multiple of the old
pitch hire fees (which were already high, but then they are nice
pitches). And attention of local MPs, Wandsworth Council and
various national sports governing bodies have been drawn to the
pitches as a local community sport resource so there's a good
chance of their continuing to be available for community use
       post (eventual) sale.
