I only found offers from 110 per night and only July to Sept
2020! on your link. Probably my fault as I'm not very good on a
       Smarty phone😱

Quiins women have been training there, to avoid over crowding at

When it was owned/run by Shell for Shell employees. I was a
member of Lensbury for something ridiculous like £1 a month.
When I worked for a company owned by BP, their sailing club was
at the end of Trowlock Way, Teddington and had 2 squash courts
only available to BP employees, and a bar just opposite. Such a
shame that paternalistic type companies like this are just
history. In the city BP House had a .22 rifle range in the
basement, together with all the usual sporting facilities. Shell
at Waterloo had 3 snooker rooms (full size tables), a bar (open
lunch time and evenings), 2 squash courts (at least), showers, a
full size multi-use court, a swimming pool and lunches for 5p
for a fantastic three course meal (some deal with the tax man -
they weren't allowed to give it away).

Did BP have a place called Meadhurst as their sporting / social
club. Many years ago a friend who worked at BP played football
       and other sports there.

Bank of England facilities at Roehampton also come to mind and
they used to give membership of a sorts to NHS staff at nearby
Queen Mary’s Hospital. There were rumours couple of years ago
the ground was being sold presume the rugby club still play
       there?

Over where I am in the SE London/Kent border there’s loads of
old company sports grounds that have either moved on to other
uses with only HSBC (Midland) at Beckenham existing in its
intended format. NatWest is now an extension of Crystal Palace’s
training ground, Lloyds Bank is split between Kent Cricket’s
Beckenham outground and Crystal Palace’s main training facility.
CEGAS is used by a school, Peak Freans is used by Colfes school.
Southern Co-op is now half school, half David Lloyd centre.
Thomas Cook has now been subsumed into Beckenham Place Park.
I always wonder how these things worked in the old days. We’re
they used more when it was easier to just drive around London to
get there for a game of squash or tennis?

A number of insurance companies had sumptuous sports grounds in
Molesey. Guardian royal Exchange was one.
The Bank of England facilities at Roehampton are still rather
       splendid.
