I can believe that there was a false negative test result as
Diamond explained on BT Sport, but he also stated that they were
aware of the correct (positive) test result before the game
       against Northampton.
With the couple of days delay in receiving the positive test
result there was a much higher chance of transmission within the
entire playing squad and because of this I can't understand why
they went ahead with the Saints game.

I wonder if it was more injury related and postponing the game
would tell them what they needed to do so whether an extra
couple of days on injured key players makes a difference.
You can blame anything on Covid and people will swallow it.

That is a possibility. The team announced for Wednesday didn’t
have any known injury victims in there so it was a plan that
didn’t bear fruit but that doesn’t mean we didn’t try it.
But then anyone can make up any possible conspiracy of you’re
determined to see people in a negative light.

You seem to be carrying a flag for Sale. Any particular reason?

Yareet is our friendly neighbourhood Sale supporter.
And, he is an actual Quins rugby player (for the ams).
Yareet, please correct me if I am wrong

The RFU investigation is the right thing to do, we need to learn
how this happened. If there are lessons to to be learnt here on
the Covid-19 protocols then we must as sport learn then.
However if there has been wrong doing by players or the team the
appropriate sanctions need to be applied. Let see what the
       investigation uncovers

Correct on all counts. Particularly the Ams. Definitely very Am.
       🤣
       Some would also question “friendly”

Listening to the special edition of RU Weekly, Ugo recounts a
       conversation with a COVID Administrator.
       The crux of it was:
       False positives are very possible
A false positive in a rugby team would lead to a rapid spread of
       the virus
If any club is likely to be hit at the moment it’s Sale just
because the R-number is so high in the locality
Had testing happened in March, clubs in the South East would’ve
       had the same issues.
But you’re right, we’re probably irresponsible and/or cheating.

I feel sorry for their fans, they played good rugby and had a
genuine shot at the playoffs, but on the other hand the season
has to end and games couldn't continue to be postponed. Just one
of those unlucky things sadly for them.
I just think is that were Quins how gutted would I be after a
long season to have the chance of being champions stolen by a
virus, it is harsh but there was no other options.
Well done sale for a good strong season and to the sale fans, it
sucks you missed out on a deserved play off spot but keep your
faith, the new season is not that far away!
