Daily Mail is reporting this morning at least one positive Test
so even Sale must call the game off now. Francis of Saints has
had to pull out of England squad as he is positive.

post!!!!!!!
However, it is being widely reported now re Sale so the right
outcome in the end. As much as Barff in the Top 4 makes me feel
queasy.

To be fair, Chris Foy in the Mail is usually good at reporting
things, and while they rely on sensationalist headlines, the
Rugby section is relatively credible, and quite often offers
more coverage than other papers outside the "big three". And I
say that as someone who detests the rest of the Daily Wail!
UPDATE:
Gavin Mairs from the Telegraph has just tweeted that the games
cancelled as more Sale players have tested positive.

Ali Ekyn has just tweeted the same. It's the only sensible
outcome in the circumstances.

Questions do need to be asked both of PRL and Sale Sharks.
For the PRL the question is "Why did they only postpone the Sale
v Worcester game after Sale had confirmed Positive test results
while they made Saint forfeit their game against Gloucester
where they had been forced to quarantine because of their
contact with Sale?" This is double standards and either both
games should have been forfeited or postponed.
For Sale the question is "How they have managed to get so many
cases in such a short time, particularly as all clubs will have
been following similar protocols in training and on matchdays?"
There is definitely a whiff of something untoward where they can
get so many cases in a few days.

I cant help feeling Sale have been at best trying to con the
authorities in rearranging the match or to blame Worcs for
cancelling but they had the problem all along. they have tried
to cheat the system

I'm not sure this is 100% accurate.
PRL did not force Saints to forfeit as such.
Saints had an injury crisis in their front row. This way made
worse by players not being able to play due to needing to
self-isolate. They were unable to register more players
(apparently due to a RFU regulation?).
Therefore, they had to forfeit the game as they couldn't fulfil
the competition requirement to have 6 front row players in the
squad.
For Sale, it was different.
Sale 'claimed' that they did have enough remaining players to
fulfil the requirement to play (i.e. they had enough front row
players).

Don't forget if it wasn't for the Daily Mail the Cheats would
still be cheating. I would not criticise their rugby coverage.
(Unless you are a Saracens apologist obviously).

Sale didn’t claim it. We put a team out.
As an aside, it included a LH at 3. A big difference to Saints
who couldn’t find a single TH to play 1 in a European quarter
final.
