Racing v Saracens

The Saracens legacy is sealed as a club who broke the rules and
were deservedly punished, not as a club who battled to a
European final against all the odds, as some pundits would have
wished. Good riddance. Delighted they lost today.

Let us now hope there will be a follow up to Sarries demise by
an HMRC investigation into the owners running of this club and
his own affairs.

I was wondering what they will do if the championship isn’t
played this season and they can’t be promoted next year.

Wasn't there also some regulation talked about at the time of
their relegation that means they have to demonstrate that their
finances are in order for 2 consecutive seasons before returning
to the Prem??

Yes there is a regulation that's something like. However, I've
got a strong feeling that money will talk here, especially given
the current financial situation.
Whatever happens with the Championship this season, they'll find
a way back for Saracens asap. They're very high profile, have a
string of internationals and, largely for TV rights reasons,
they'll be back very quickly. Players like Farrell, Itoje,
George, Daly & the Vunipolas help to sell TV subscriptions. I
think there's little chance they'll be stuck in the Championship
for two or three seasons. Happy to be wrong on this though.

Sadly I believe that was found to be incorrect as it was based
on outdated information.
My bet is the cheats will never set foot in the Championship
which would be even sadder.
And utterly disgraceful.

But you have to remember that they are only very high profile,
and have a string of international players because THEY HAVE
BEEN CHEATING FOR SEVERAL SEASONS.
Their actions hsve deprived other Premiership clubs from.....
this has all been said many times before, so I won’t repeat it.

A wild guess here but wouldn't be surprised if the Championship
didn't go ahead or was only partly played and Saracen
automatically go up due to being the last team relegated then
the Premiership gets ringfenced.
