we could do that sort of thing. Am I missing Sinklers impact at
Bristol as I’ve watched a few of their games and they often get
shoved around in the scrum, he doesn’t seem to make any breaks
and gets subbed early in games. Excellent evening’s
entertainment though and looking forward to more games like that
       this weekend.

From the few Bristol games I have watched Sinckler has looked
pretty anonymous but not walked around with a face like thunder
looking for an argument like he did when he played for us. Seems
happier there but not seen anything yet to make me wish we’d
       kept him.

       TWO OPPOSING SINK VIEWS
       1) in a team that plays like Bristol, his opportunities for
starring with ball in hand are greatly reduced.
       2) He may be being asked to play a different role at Quins.
Either way, if he was at the stoop and happy - i'd have been
       happy.
Must be tough moving clubs, when you've only known one
way......Bit cultural change for him - may take time to settle.

       Botica was rather good actually.
It was a really good game, my wife and children were watching
teenage wizard nonsense so I retreated to the study with a beer
       and watched rugby 👍
I agree, I haven't noticed Sinck having the same impact for
Brizzle, but then it's a totally different team and environment.
As others have said, it will take time for him to settle.

He could put in a great performance most times, but
unfortunately he will be remembered for two spectacular
blunders, the first of which definitely cost us a vital win in
premiership, the second possibly, just possibly removed our
chance to win a European Cup final. I was at both those matches,
and cannot even begin to think what was going through his mind
when he took the actions that he did.

I was at both matches , and the nonsense against Saints will
live long in the memory , brain fade of the highest order , but
to defend him slightly against Montpelier , I remember watching
it back and seeing Visser on the left wing waving like a
windmill and pointing forward for a kick pass , which i think
Botica was trying to perform when he duly sliced it down the
middle of the park .. neither will be on his hilight reel .
He played well against Bears last night and I think he was named
Leagues best player for Oyonnax after he left us .. not sure we
       got him in his prime

He, like all the back-up players during the NEv years, suffered
because whenever NEv was even partially fit, he would be the
automatic pick of whoever was in charge at the time. They never
had a chance to really get a chance to string a number of starts
together that players need to find their consistency. Closing
out a game from the bench is not the same. Arguably NEv is
better placed as a coach than as a senior player at bringing
forward the younger players in that he isn't a threat to their
       chance to start games.

I seem to remember that he was a good player when he started but
poor when he came on from the bench. He was a better place
       kicker than Nev.
But, they couldn't decide whether he was a centre or a FH.

       Botica was poor.
Sinckler wasn't making big carries because he's moved to a team
stuffed with big carriers. Instead he spent his 50 minutes being
a distributor - 13 passes and 8 carries is a huge return from
your tighthead prop. And then they can bring on megabucks John
       Afoa...

Never thought of John Afoa as ‘megabucks’ I thought that was
       Sincks?😀

Afoa's always been a really expensive player. He was on around
£500k at Ulster and it won't have dropped a huge amount.
