If push came to shove at Quins they could sell off the training
ground for houses, then just use the stadium for training as
well as games, it would reduce overheads and buy the club more
time for things to go back to normal.
I think a few clubs may go for a plan like this.

I didn't think we owned the training ground.

I imagine they are. I really hope that there isn’t more talk of
players threatening strike action. I would like to think they
might realise that at this point, their livelihood is at stake.

Each to their own, but not for me. I have a strong emotional
relationship with Quins, but paying for my ticket is a purely
commercial relationship so I will not be donating money.
Covid has revealed commercial problems with rugby that most
other sports don’t share: the product is incomprehensible to
non-fans who are now needed to fill the funding gap that we fans
filled with our tickets.
If the game of rugby was invented today, it wouldn’t start from
this place. It may be time for Darwinism to take its course and
a new rugby to fill its niche.
I’d love Quins to be the first name on this new clean sheet, but
I’m no investor in the current commercial flop and the dud
WRU/RFU set-up that Quins are beholden to.

Surrey Sports Park is owned by the University of Surrey. Quins
may well own, or have a decent lease on the building that they
use on a daily basis.

Perhaps this hastens the laying of an artificial pitch?
Generates money doesn't it?? Sell off whatever land they might
own elsewhere....train/play/hire out at the Stoop.

I believe there is still an rfu moratorium on artificial pitches

That's probably exactly the kind of thing they'll have to look
at to help clubs survive. While there are mixed views on them
as a playing surface, World Rugby, the RFU and the Premiership
will have to be flexible on things like this for financial
reasons.
