Beyond frustrating. Played straight into their hands and our own
worst enemies again.
Foley is still a shocking ref.

Earle to make room for Esterhuizen was silly when we were
defending so well. Upset the whole backline cohesion.
Taking Marcus off also the wrong call. He was playing
exceptionally well and organising all around him brilliantly. It
upset out entire rhythm. If it's a league game I understand it
but if you want to win a cup final, sometimes you have to ignore
the GPS stats. Gustard ballsed that right up.

We stopped playing second half then do everything we can to set
it up for them. Estherhuizen shouldn't be allowed to robshaw's
farewell do.

I'm proud of the team but Foley should be sacked, hes either
incompetent or corrupt.

Stupid Estherhuizen has cost us this game. Plus Foley’s
appalling decision against Evans. Let’s hope we get some value
for money from Estherhuizen at some point. None tonight.

Thank god Sale did something to deserve the win. To lose that
on a nonsense Foley decision would have been awful.

The ref has been inconsistent, but we've shot ourselves in the
foot in the second half by a) some brain dead penalties giving
Sale field position and b) losing control when we changed our
half backs. I don't think we kicked in behind their defence once
after Smith/Care off, despite not getting anywhere going through
the phases.
A real shame after a really good first 60mins.
