       Premiership Squads 2018/19

This is as accurate as I can make it, with an approximation of
the pecking order for each team - with room for bickering,
       obviously.
I just find it useful to see where each team, and each squad
stands in terms of strength, depth, and having a looksie at
opponents beforehand to get an idea of how strong or otherwise
their squad may be on any given weekend.

For us at Fly Half, I would have placed them in this order:
       Catrakilis, Lang, Smith, Swiel.

Interesting to see confirmation of my gut feeling that we now
have one of the largest squads in the Prem. Really does feel
like we've chucked money at all our problems during the off
season. I don't think we can remain atop our salary cap high
horse anymore - I'd like to think and do believe until suggested
otherwise that we are still within it but it does feel like we
can't complain about having a small squad or a squad lacking in
depth this season. In other words: no excuses.

Thanks WT. We haven't learned a lot about Gustard's intentions
from the friendly games so, as far as the Quins pecking order is
concerned, your guess is as good as ours.

Im sure it was mentioned in TRP (??) that Gustard thinks the
squad is more quantity rather than quality at the moment. His
plan being to change that around idc.
Not sure about the SC comment, the side with the biggest squad
does not automatically spend the most, surely it is about the
quality in the squad. You can have the biggest squad and no
depth if the quality is not there. As it stands Gustard is
working pretty much with JKs squad

Short-term signing; such as George Smith only signed for
       September-December.
If I cen bothered keeping it going throught the season; I'd
probably end up counting mid-season or injury replacement
       signings as 0.5 as well

I don't disagree with you at all, but in our case it would still
defy logic if we weren't right up to the cap now. We don't
exactly have less internationals than anyone else by a long way
       - cba to do an exact count across all 12 teams but I'd think
we're up there in the top 6 in terms of total number of
internationals, if not, top 4. Whichever way you cut it and
however much "quality" you consider those internationals to
have, they are costing us more than a first team Prem
       player/squad player would.
