Looked to go well for Agen, from the highlights at least!

Class player. Very much missed at Quins. Aston looks over the
hill. Earle is still working is way back from fitness.
Murley is a class young player, but does not have the individual
brilliance that this lad has.
A big loss for quins and perhaps England.

Perhaps. Ibitoye can be electric ball in hand, no question.
However, he needs to seriously work on his core skill sets if
he's going to get anyway near an England shirt. He's
positioning, defence, passing and aerial skills are all under
par I'm afraid. As well as the established England players, he's
certainly behind McConnochie and Thorley to name just a couple.
What makes you say Ashton is over the hill? He's been solid so
far in a Quins shirt, and let's face it it's not like our backs
are being a consistent platform to work from week in week out.

I agree, a huge amount of nepotism regarding Ibitoye. Did look
good ball in hand but let's be honest, he wasn't scoring 2 tries
a game week in and week out, even ugly ones. He only really
scored 1 possibly 2 worldies a season so a little overhyped at
times. As stated before, I would have liked us to negotiate a
first refusal clause in his new deal to see if he does step up
and challenge for international honours.
Else he'll just be another Lyndsay-Hague. We do have to look at
the fact that with those two, Charlie Walker and various others
that have had a lot of promise but not moved up to the next
level at Quins, especially as we are supposed to be a flair team
that creates space for wingers....which we don't, of course.

I loved watching Gabs exciting player. he has moved on now. I do
not understand why anyone cares what he does elsewhere.

Because I reckon there's a good chance he might come back once
he's had enough prunes a l'armagnac

I dunno, it seemed a pretty acrimonious split.

Like I said at the time, French rugby will suit him. It's full
of wingers like him who can be great with ball in hand and
teams/fans don't really care about the mistakes or the defensive
problems, plus there's enough huge blokes to sort out possession
and the breakdown.
