Thank you, although I left with 20 to go. That was a better
decision than most of the ones the ref made. Usual caveat - the
team was far worse than the ref.

I second that, all who were there made some great noise which
came across on TV really well.
Great showing by the fans.

Yes, young seems to be decent in the lineout, although it went
short an awful lot. Shame he's so utterly unsuited to every
other facet of lock play.

I was really excited about going today, but soon after the 20
min drinks break it became obvious that it was going to be one
of those Quins days. The not really turn up, forget any basic
skills and when an error is made, compound it a bit more with
either a Hail Mary play that has limited chance of success or
make another mistake.
The sad thing is, nobody at the club ever seems that angry about
it. Jolly good show chaps, etc. Dreading the game against Irish
now, they love to turn us over and we frequently oblige.

I am very much a "glass half full" person, difficult to maintain
that outlook after today`s performance.

From the BBC
Harlequins head of rugby Paul Gustard:
"I'm sad for the board, I'm sad for the club and I'm sad for the
fans, but also I'm massively sad for the team because they
weren't able to put the performance in.
"I'm disappointed with the performance. It's sad that we had
3,500 people in here but didn't get the result we want.
"From the point of view of normality, it was great to see a
crowd back. For the first 20 minutes we gave them something to
cheer about, for the next 50 we didn't.
"Making the top four seems very tough now. The top four are
pulling away now and leaving people like ourselves behind."

I would like to say top 8 should be ok but can't think that is
safe, LI will turn up to beat us

Well at least that’s refreshingly honest.

I’m not sad for the team at all. It was within their ability and
control to have put in a significantly better performance.
Hooper has moulded Bath in to a good team, but we made them look
much better than they actually are.

Well yes but to say anything else would be totally delusional.
