Very interesting. We could still plummet down the table, I hope
not. In reality we have pretty much stood still. JK tried to
oversee change just as PG is trying to do. With JK we still hung
onto the academy dream, whereas we are now much more a mercenary
club. You could argue that with the off field team we now have,
we are hugely under achieving.
I dont think David Ellis helped during the JK period. I felt
very sorry for John. Treated poorly all round.

Agreed. We beat Sarries at home in both of the seasons that JK
was incharge.

It’s also how you lose. We were getting beat by 20 points plus
regularly under JK. Humiliated at home by a hopeless Irish team
was one highlight
But underlying point is correct, Gustard needs to do better with
the squad he has very soon

How is Gussy comparing with other DORs? Chris Boyd of Saints is
not looking good-last night was Saints 6th consecutive defeat at
home. At least our record is better than that!!

Big difference between the roles of JK and Gussy as well. If you
look at Northampton as an example, last season and pre-COVID
everyone was raving about them and QF in Europe still!
In the last season under JK we looked terrible most weeks (post
Xmas). Under PG could not say the same and let’s not judge so
much based upon a second team against a Worcester 1st team that
held Bristol’s 1st team for large parts of last nights game.
