I think.that looks quite good.I take the "No repeat of domestic
matches" to mean that you wont play anyone else from your own
league in the pool stage, which is great. Nothing worse to my
mind than having to play Bath or Wasps four times a season!

"*NB If not already ranked number one, the winners of the 2020
Heineken Champions Cup will become the second-ranked club from
its league. If not already qualified for the Heineken Champions
Cup, the winners of the 2020 Challenge Cup will take the place
of the eighth-ranked club from its league."
Does that mean Sarries will take a spot if they win this seasons
Champions Cup?
It means we need to hope Tigers don't win the Challenge Cup.

Pretty sure the rules won't allow Sarries to play in the
Champions Cup if they're not in the premiership.

I think you're right. It specifically mentions Newcastle being
in the Challenge Cup and 12 English clubs so can't see how there
would be room for Sarries.

looking at the format it is going to be vital that you get into
the top 6 of the league, otherwise you could end up playing the
Pro and Top 14 champions.
I'm really not sure I like this format. It is definitely set up
so the top teams are most likely to get through to the quarter
finals as they only play the weaker Tier 4 teams (as I
understand it) and so you would expect them all to come away
with 4 bonus point wins each. Not really a fair competition in
each group.

I thought that was pretty much what happened anyway!
