Having read through all information I have been sent, I must of
missed the bit about restrictions in taking food into the
stadium as Mr_B has informed us. Can someone please post a link,
or confirm, this. I have saved the SEATSERVE link to my phone
as AdrianB kindly posted.

Q.8 Will there be food and drinks available on the day?
Yes – food and drinks will be available, but these will be sold
by a new ‘seat serve’ system. Just follow the link
Stoop.seatserve.com to register, pre-order or order and pay on
the day. You will not need to leave your seat during the game.
You are advised that the normal bars and kiosks for food and
drink will not be available. You cannot bring your own food and
drink into the stadium, as per usual rules of access.

Thanks Toast, interesting that it states - 'as per usual rules
of access'. Of which I have been totally unaware! Being a 4 to 5
hour round trip for me, for many years I have always taken food
with me, always offered my bag to stewards for search and said,
"just a jacket and some sandwiches" and have never been told
different. Maybe treat myself to a burger/pizza/donut this
Saturday.

I used to occasionally have a soft drink in my camera bag when I
brought it to the Stoop & it was usually allowed in, although
one steward did tell me I wasn't really supposed to have it. I
know a couple of the guys who I sit beside in "normal seating"
games will often bring in food. One likes the pasties at Clapham
Junction & will bring one in his jacket pocket, while another
brings in fried calamari rings and a jar of hot sauce to eat
while we're having a beer at the Quins Head before the game!

I have taken food and water or soft drink in the past and it
hasn't been questioned, I will take a sandwich tomorrow also. If
I have to dump it then so be it.

I checked options on Seatserve now the kitchen appears open,
limited menu shown. Chicken gammon and leek pasty, Vegan sausage
roll, sausage roll or chicken tikka roti wrap. also a limited
choice of drinks.
More option may get added I suppose?

I wasn't aware of that rule either! We've generally taken
sandwiches for the past few seasons (partly as an attempt to cut
costs, and partly due to the variability of the vegetarian
options on offer). Never been questioned as part of the bag
check and the steward in charge of our block normally stops to
ask what we've got this week [emoji4]
