Looks like one or two have named their sides and some have not.
No big deal really

Yeah, some have, some have not. Like I said, no real disaster.
Extra day to asses some bodies maybe

Gustard is in his bunker, like Hitler at the end of Downfall.
He's poring over a list of players and moving chess pieces
around with labels on them to try and find the team with the
best chance for Sunday. [emoji4]

I will now always picture him like this, with the coaches
standing around looking nervous about who will say something
first!

Maybe he's doing it as a ballot (like with who gets to watch the
Bath game)?

Bit unfair. Don't have to announce squad until noon the day
before. In normal circumstances Friday noon is when it's done,
but seems prudent to give ourselves an extra 24hrs given the
disastrous mid-week non-performance, not least as it will keep
Saints guessing.

I'm not sure Saints are that worried if they've looked at the
tapes of the last few games. Basically get it to the 22, get a
rolling maul going, push over line, try, repeat ad nauseam!

I’m not fussed who gets picked so long as they actually turn up
on match day

HARLEQUINS NAME TEAM TO HOST SAINTS AT THE STOOP
Saturday, 29th August 2020 @ 12:00
HEAD OF RUGBY PAUL GUSTARD MAKES 13 CHANGES TO HARLEQUINS’
STARTING XV AS NORTHAMPTON SAINTS HEAD TO THE STOOP FOR ROUND 17
OF THE 2019/20 GALLAGHER PREMIERSHIP SEASON (LIVE ON BT SPORT
1HD, KICK OFF 14:00).
International duo Danny Care and Paul Lasike return to the
starting XV for the first time this season, both having made
significant impact during their appearances from the bench for
Quins since rugby returned, with Care returning from injury
against Worcester Warriors earlier this week.
Openside flanker Will Evans is the only change to the team that
faced Saracens at Allianz Park during round 15, with Club
Captain Chris Robshaw shifting to the six jersey as back row
James Chisholm looks to make an impact as one of the side’s Game
Changers; who have made notable impacts for Gustard’s side over
recent weeks.
Commenting ahead of this Sunday’s round 17 clash live on BT
Sport 1 HD, Head of Rugby Paul Gustard said: “We are looking
forward to the match again Northampton tomorrow, we know we will
have to be at our very best to get the result we need. We have
had two decent performances against Sale and Saracens
respectively, but simply did not get the fundamentals right
against Worcester earlier this week and underperformed. We are
motivated to correct that on Sunday.
“I respect Boydy [Northampton Saints Director of Rugby Chris
Boyd] and his team massively and I know they will bring their
usual strengths to the game as well as a couple of curve balls
to keep us alive.
“I know our fans can’t be at The Stoop this weekend, but I am
sure they will be well aware of the clash that awaits us and
will be looking forward to seeing the players respond
positively.”
