HEAD OF RUGBY PAUL GUSTARD HAS NAMED THE HARLEQUINS TEAM TO
TRAVEL TO SIXWAYS STADIUM TOMORROW EVENING (WEDNESDAY 26TH
AUGUST, 18:00 KICK-OFF) FOR ROUND 16 OF THE 2019/20 GALLAGHER
PREMIERSHIP SEASON, AS WORCESTER WARRIORS HOST HARLEQUINS LIVE
       ON BT
Back row Tom Lawday captains the team for the first time from
number eight as the West London side head to the Midlands,
completing a back row unit alongside Dino Lamb and Will Evans,
with all three having played from the bench in the Club’s last
two matches against Sale Sharks and Saracens.

A new-look front row unit of Santiago Garcia Botta, Joe Gray and
Will Collier also earn promotion to the starting XV having
played from the bench over the last two matches, with scrum-half
Scott Steele, fly-half Brett Herron also stepping into the
       starting line-up.

Recovering from a back injury sustained during pre-season,
scrum-half Club stalwart Danny Care returns to the matchday 23,
donning the 21 jersey from the bench for his first game back
following lockdown. The Club will also see wingers Chris Ashton
and Cadan Murley return to fitness this week, with Ashton
recovering from a knock during training last week while Murley
returns having last featured in the Quarters in February.
Propping pair Marc Thomas and Maks van Dyk are named on the
bench as they look to make their debuts in the Quarters, having
both signed short-term deals with the Club for the remainder of
       the season.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s round 16 clash live on BT Sport,
Head of Rugby Paul Gustard said: “We are of course disappointed
to lose our game last time out against Saracens at the weekend,
for large aspects of the game we did well but unfortunately we
didn’t come away with at least a point following their good
       fortune with the final try.

“Fortunately, we do not have to wait long before we get back on
the horse as we look forward and turn our immediate attention to
the Worcester game. We have picked a strong team who deserve
their opportunity to play. We took the two games this week as a
mini block and considered how we could prepare the two teams
appropriately with dedicated attention and focus to each match,
ensuring we took player welfare into our consideration.

“We are delighted to announce Tom Lawday as our captain for this
fixture and see the return of Cadan [Murley] and DC [Danny Care]
from spells on the sidelines. We know as always Worcester will
be ferocious competitors and that we will need to be operating
at the same level of intensity and effort as have shown in the
first two fixtures of the restart. We can’t wait to get back out
       there tomorrow evening.”

Pretty much the best 15 we could field while rotating. Here's
hoping Herron has one of his better days. Scrummaging-wise I
don't have too much an issue with that line-up, and if the ball
gets to our 11-15 they can all cause defenses serious issues.
       Fingers crossed for the win!

I hope Lasike gets on early in the second half. He has had a big
impact in his time on the pitch.

Home advantage aside, I see Worcester as favourites based on
those line ups. Still, great opportunity for the likes of
Northmore, Evans and Steele to hopefully impress.
Agree with Fearless Fred re Herron. I would've preferred to see
Lang at 10 but accept its a tough balancing act given the rush
of games and restrictions on minutes. Everyone in the squad will
       need to play a part.

Ross Chisholm's partner's just given birth which would explain
why he's not available. Decent team and more importantly they've
trained together for this game, rather than thrown together due
       to injuries
