Jacques Du Plessis as a replacement for Clifford.
Cain picks Dombrandt as a ‘game changer’ for the 8 Nations this
       year.

Wasps after him as well, apparently.

Forgot to add the word potential when it came to Clifford’s
       replacement

With Robbo, Clifford and Semi all moving on, we need at least
two new flankers. It's going to be interesting to see how
Gustard goes about rebuilding the back row and the balance that
he's looking for. I wonder if they may wait to see how the
breakdown is interpreted/reffed for the rest of the season
       before pursuing targets.
Du Plessis would give good go forward and can play lock too, but
the current breakdown interpretation might mean we go for two
       opensides/jackals at 6 and 7.

I think we definitely need some more South Africans.

It looks as though he is a RG Snayman type of lock that can play
       6 too.
With the game changing due to the break down issues, do we need
       a 2.01m flanker?
Personally I think he could well play 6 for us and become a type
       of PSDT type of 6.

Good option in the second row but not the sort of back row
player we should be looking at.

       Agreed.
I definitely wouldn’t be against the idea of du Plessis as one
of couple of acquisitions but given that Evans is the only
out-and-out 7 we’ll have left, we definitely need another
       jackal/link player as well.
I believe Liam Gill is still without a club. He would be an
       excellent signing.
If not, I’ve always really rated Sam Lewis at Worcester. He’d be
ideal and is now EQ (on residency).

Not AFAIK know. Just had a quick Google around and I can’t find
an update since he left Lyon.
The Rugby Pass article seemed to suggest he was angling for a
move back to Australia for a shot at test rugby.
