V sad news & wish him well.
Although not mentioned in the report I understood that
concussion was one of the issues he was having a few seasons
back that had the potential to end his career early.

Big shame. I remember watching him tear it up for the U20s and
thinking he had a huge future. Hit the ground running with Quins
but just didn't have the body to cope with modern rugby.
arniepie was right, though I'm still not comfortable with leaks
       about retirement like this :(

Such a shame as had great potential. With him and Chris and Semi
leaving we are very short on class back row Options, hopefully
       this Is rectified

Massive disappointment for him, the whole club and rugby. Best
of luck in the future Jack, goodness knows you've earned some.

Very sad to lose such a good player so young due to injury.

Such a shame. He was a player of enormous talent and potential.
Two of my favourite rugby memories were watching him drag the
U20s back into the game in the JRWC Final - one of the best
individual performances I have seen on a rugby pitch - and the
tries he created for England against the Barbarians, one of them
from an awful pass he picked up at ankle height.
Best of luck for the future, Jack.
