Think it is pretty good.....had kinda forgotten the ground was
empty!!!

I think I heard Nick Mullens say it was taken from the sound
track of last years Quins v Sale match and will do it for every
match. That must be a lot of work for the sound editors!

Agree with majority of posts, was sceptical but thought it

Not a fan but there has to be something or any noise from
players and others in stadium would come across very echoey, a
bit like Monday night A games.
Oh I do miss those as well

I must admit I was sceptical too. But for TV watching it was a
lot better than hearing sounds echoing around an empty stadium.
It was a nice and creative touch to edit the sounds from
previous encounters.

Having watched some football matches where it was used I find it
good when it is in sync but terrible when it isn't and you hear
the oohs and ahhs for no apparent reason.

Presumably there's a man in charge with various buttons :
1. Try Scored
2. "Heave" - Rolling Maul
3. Ongoing murmurings re the fall in the stock market, Rikki's
£10 off offer, the wicked price of child care/nannies/domestics,
which one is Will Carling etc...
4. as 3. but played while the kicker is taking a
penalty/conversion - so slightly louder
