We were by far the better team first half. Should have finished
at least one of those chances and ended up at half time being
grateful they butchered their big chance too.
Second half was scrappy and tense finish but great to get the
win. Llandajo and Smith controlled it very well.
Just great to see some rugby again and last and delighted with
the win. After so long the performance doesn't really matter
Ronnie winning too and Barcelona getting humped. Great night for
sport

Symons, Smith, or Marler MOTM for me. Pack really did a number
on them in the tight and at the breakdown, and Smith used the
ball really intelligently.

The front row did well. Both Smith and Landajo controlled the
game very well. I think our win was really down to just playing
the more clever rugby.

Massive credit to the pack, fronted up against a huge Sale pack.
Symons in particular I thought was excellent, up against two
Springbok locks and outclassed both of them in my opinion.

I also thought Symons was immense today. He is a real leader.
Well done to man of the match Landajo, though. He played really
well and gave us a bit of zip. Hopefully, in better weather, our
backs can really do some damage with that quick ball. Care will
offer us that too.
All in all, a very pleasing win against a team who were expected
to come down, bully us, and leave with 5 points. Well done boys.

Kerrod gave them some proper crap in the first few scrums. Took
his time in a couple of them but you could see why he was
picked.

Thought the scrum looked excellent
Has to be Lndajo’s best game in the quarters to date
Earle really showed that he hasn’t lost any pace
Not the most exciting game, but very happy to get the win, and
it’s definitely something to build on
