Job done. Smart choice by Lawday to get it off the pitch at the
end.
No injuries, most players looked sharp. A few silly penalties
but overall the whole XXIII looked tactically and technically
sharp. Can’t ask for much more than that.
Flannery already looking like a very astute signing - we had the
edge in most departments against a much lauded pack. But how
much will we miss Robshaw when he’s gone? Sharpest player at the
breakdown throughout much of the game, and cleaned up so much
mess for us. The record for Premiership starts on the flank is
much deserved, even if BT Sport only quoted half the actual
figure.

A good win against the team in second place. Everybody looked
solid with some bright moments we couldn’t quite finish off.
Some of our players looking much better integrated now than at
start of season, one of which got MOM. Points in the bag ,
weekend looking up. I’m ready for the rest of the rugby fest.

Earle was looking fantastic I thought. He wasn't kidding about
the pace!
Ashton didn't get many chances but looked solid. Marchant great
in d as always and robbo looking so so sharp

Forwards looked good. Flannery must be worth have added
something. Against a strong sale pack who I thought would
dominate up front.
Backs looked good. Brown marchent and Ashton looked like they
were on the same page. Hopefully see some sexy tries from them
in the coming months.

Agreed, but I don’t mind Landajo getting the credit for by far
his best performance in a Quins shirt so far.
I also though Baldwin was very solid.

Baldwin my MOTM personally, hit nearly all his darts which has
been our achilles heel for countless seasons now. A real mature
performance from quins against a superior team on paper. COYQs!!
