Arniepie is pretty spot on normally. Although I m sure he has
been in videos training

Would seem a bit weird for this announcement of a retirement
straight after the most recent media releases. Also think this
would have a big impact on squad, that they would have
fixed/sorted.

Maybe he will play out the season, but cannot go on long term??

Perhaps he can’t fully shake off his last injury. Shame if he is
retiring as he’s a top quality player.

That would be a great shame, very good player but had a long run
of injuries.

That would be horrific if true. Such a horrible game, so many
players with huge potential who never get to realise it.

Agreed about Arniepie. But I would have thought an announcement
would have been made, and he wouldn't have been listed in the
current squad. If nothing else, it would help in terms of salary
cap.

I don’t recall having seen him in the training videos TBH.
If it is true, I think we’re very light in the back row.
Particularly given Robshaw is only with us until the end of the
19/20 season. Chisholm, Evans, Dombrandt and Lawday are good
players up but I’ve said a number of times before, I don’t think
Archie White is good enough for Premiership rugby and I’m yet to
be convinced by Lamb. Lewies can cover, but that means moving
one of our best locks on to the flank.

Wonder if we will see Lasike drafted into flanker. For some
reason I’ve got in my head that he’s been trailed there before
for club or country? Might be totally wrong.
