Welcome back JTH. It sounds like he's really found his niche and
undertaken an interesting apprenticeship to get to the current
position.
Always have fond memories of him playing - aside from the
obvious, I remember him scoring against Sale early on in the
2012/13 season carrying Richie Gray across the try line on his
back.

That's great news. Mad to read he's still only 32 and could
still be playing. I obviously have no idea what he's like as a
coach, but Gustard doesn't seem the type to me to just hand out
roles to old boys out of loyalty alone.
Also good to see him starting out in a relatively junior
coaching role so he can further learn his trade.

Really pleasing news. Interesting on the same day that Minty was
announced as joining Falcons. I hope and believe that JTH taking
some time away from the club will have given him a broader
perspective before returning to us. Fingers crossed he can help
produce the next generation of JTH/Lowe combos.

Couldn't agree more with all of the other comments. This is
great news to have JTH back.
I would say hard luck to Ipswich School losing their Head of
Rugby, but having gone to a rival rugby playing school that most
recently has had Lewis Ludlam & Alex Moon come through the
ranks, maybe I won't ;D

He was coaching at Rosslyn Park prior to taking up the
appointment at Ipswich School I believe.
