Eastmond to Quins?

Couldn't see this elsewhere - apologies if I've missed it. Not
convinced personally given the injury history and his age but
perhaps a short term deal for this season helps fill a temporary
gap?

A red card of a player. Rather not thanks.

Weird rumour. With Lasike, Tapuai and Lang in the squad and
Esterhuizen due to arrive, signing another 12 even on a short
term deal seems a little strange.
Having said that, Lang is the only one of those I’ve seen in the
training squad.

Initially I thought why, but thinking more.....Is Esterhuizen
even here yet, if he is on his way he will behind the the rest
of the squad in terms of training and will take time to get up
to speed. Is Tapuai back training, he has recently had a baby
and I wonder if he is one of the players staying away for the
time being. Then the possible departure of Gabs. Thats 3 down
already. I doubt there are many other options out there at this
stage

If he can get his head right and work hard, he would give us
another playmaker option at 12. We have big bosh 12's so could
be a different option for certain games.
He knows Shaun Long from his St Helens days in league. I expect
Long to be able to get more from him. He played his best rugby
under Mike Ford at Bath another league coach.

Short term deal sounds like injury cover for Campagnaro

4 games in 3 weeks, with Saili gone and doubts over Tapuai And
Gabs - makes short term sense.

Always rated Eastmond, very strong physical player with great
Defense and a point of different. But strange decision with
Centers being one of our strengths. But good news, always should
welcome experience and talent of this level.

Never really rated him in union, but as others have pointed out,
Saili has gone, Tapuai might have to shield / isolate. Northmore
and Lang have both been pictured in training but I've not seen
Lasike. Makes sense to get short term cover if we are remotely
short, given how many injuries we seem to pick up and the number
of games in a short period. Is Marchant now back and available?
Penny has been released too (not sure if he's gone back to
Falcons for next season or if he's now without a club at all).

Marchant is back & was shown at training in a video the Lang
posted to Instagram a few days ago. You've got to think that
he's probably the most ready to start playing as he's had full
training for longer than the rest of them over the last month.
