Interesting point. As a former fly-half, I remember thinking
during games that we narrowly lost, "If I'd been playing, the
result could have been very different". Without doubt, we'd have
been absolutely hammered. So, one player can make a big
difference!

It might be because it was an easy three points that put us more
than a score away. This would have reduced the pressure on the
players and the chance that Ealing could have won. They were
conscious that this board would have gone into meltdown if we
had lost and didn't want that to happen. And we hadn't exactly
excelled at the line out anyway.

Yeah, I was fine with taking the points. Start sensible game
management from pre season.
