Interesting article. A lot of big names moving on (Ashley
Johnson to Birmingham??!!)
Looking at this, it's hard to deny that we've done the best
transactions - on paper at least.

Travis Ismael is one of the worst signings I can remember at
Harlequins. Not sorry that he's moving on. Although maybe he was
just injury cover?

To be fair Cronje never actually played and we didn't end up
paying him anything. He was really a non-signing. Would have
been awesome if he hadn't been crocked 🙄

For the worst signings category for me it’s about their
hype/stature/pedigree in the squad and what they actually
produced. Geo never stepped foot on a field in the quarters so
you can’t count it.
It’s hard to name one of recent times but mentions for some
recent names..
PDJ
Katrakillis (the injury was unfortunate but deer in headlights
before then)
Jamie Roberts
Baldwin might be added to this list, as for a player of his
reputation of what he’s done in the game he’s been outplayed by
even Musk.

i don't think you can say "Deer in the headlights" before his
injury about Catrakillis, given that he had played a total of 41
minutes for us before that freak injury, and 10 minutes of that
was spent in the sin bin a minute after he came on, picking up
the yellow card due to repeated infractions from the team prior
to that point. 31 minutes of game time isn't long enough to know
what sort of player he would have been that season.
