Think we already have our share of injury prone players

I prefer our existing options, especially when Marchant returns.
I bet Manu would cost a small fortune too.

No thanks. Injury prone. Won’t see England players play for the
club for most of the season. Prefer the options we have already.
I think he will either sign for Tigers or go to Japan.

Injury prone yes. But when he’s on form he is unbelievable. I
can’t see in personally but maybe the Gabs to France is true,
Marchant to wing like he had done for the blues...
but maybe I’m very much of the mark.

No. We have one of the best 13s in England, why would we put
him on the wing (we also have a very good set of wingers, with
or without Gabs)

He would take up to much space in the budget. Plus I think
Esterhauzen must have been brought in as a marque.
Also, we looks well stocked at 12 and 13.
I can see him heading off to France or Japan for a big pay day.
He is 29 and has had a good England career. Maybe time for some
new blood in the 12 and 13?

If he signed a £500k deal last year after being offered more in
France he is probably a bit miffed that his loyalty to Tigers is
now going to cost him even more wages. If the contract was for
three years that’s a lot of cash. I’m not sure if players HAVE
to accept a new reduced wage contract especially if it’s a
longish deal already. For us it’s a tricky one but ultimately a
decision we won’t have to make. On fire he’s brilliant. Out
injured a lot or away with England would make him poor value for
money.

Seems that the general feeling on here is that with his
extensive injury record, and his extensive non availability due
to England duties, he would not be a good buy, considering that
he would cost quite a lot of money.
I agree with those sentiments.
