With only three announcements of new players and so far 9
announced leavers (plus a few more for sure) we have to have
some more new players in. Only 9 front row players in senior
squad at mo and considering you need 6 plus two on reserve every
match game seems we are a bit light!

Maybe we're making the move to a smaller, cheaper squad sooner
rather than later? Or maybe this is to do with the low number of
games left to complete this season, and a larger squad not being
necessary?

Yeah, care has said we're not imposing pay cuts so I imagine
we're cutting squad size

With our injury record that seems more than a little risky.
We may be OK at hooker with Baldwin, Elia, Gray, Musk and Riley.
There are other positions I’m more worried about. Back row in
particular.

Normally, yes. But players should hopefully all be back to full
fitness by the time we start playing again; and the resumed
season will see what is effectively a half season of rugby,
quite possibly without any non-Prem games for us. In that
respect it would be worse to have a larger squad IMO.

Have you looked at how the Pro14 are dealing with it? They are
basically cancelling a bunch of difficult to stage games and
awarding 0-0 draws. Is it possible GP might go a similar route?
