TG not looking to qualify for England and in particular is
looking to learn from Mike Brown at Fullback.

Probably because while he started life as a 10, he's now
primarily a 15 or winger, but can fill in if required.

Out and out full backs we're slow catchers and kickers. They are
now seen as key to an attack which is why players like Daly and
Goode do such a good job there.
Hopefully Green will add to completion in the squad, be a useful
multi role option when needing to move players around mid game
or from the bench.
Look forward to him playing for the mighty quins.

I may be getting confused - wouldn't be the first time - but I
recall that soon after Nev joined he had a knee injury. Once
recovered he slotted in at fullback. I'm thinking of a Wasps
game where seemed to shred their defence using pure pace to
score a try. But of course Nev was a very special player.

Define "out and out full back". Would Hogg count? Don't remember
seeing him play anywhere else. Hammersley? Furbank?

NEV played a good amount of 15 for the All Blacks and in Super
Rugby, iirc

It used to be quite a common thing for players to be a 10/15.
Nowadays you're seeing more 10/12s and 10/13s

I think that was NEVs first game at the Stoop. He came up in to
the line and took the ball, made a run and had somebody outside
him. I awaited the pass but NEV hit the gas and burned them
them all on the outside!
A very happy memory.
