Nothing wrong with drawing a match which, I've probably only
seen half a dozen of if that anyway.
20 min for a red card I think is a terrible idea. I think there
are offences that warrant a permanent sending off.
As for the others I thought they were pretty much the laws
       anyway!

In the regular super 2019 season, excluding the draw for the
game called off due to the March CHCH terrorist attack - you can
see why NZ rugby is doing more draws in one season than what
       you've seen.
       Blues P16 D1
       Chiefs P16 D2
       Hurricanes P16 D1
       Crusdnaders P16 D2
       Highlanders P16 D2
The other teams to be involved in draws are the
       Bulls/Stormers/Sharks.
Playing 16 games (and in theory going to 13 in 2021) league
games draws can have a significant impact on the end-table.
There seems to be acceptance of this decision here by teams and
       supporters.
However, supporters are more concerned about restart of live
rugby, and for Monday's decision that we supporters can go.

PS - forgot to add that OZ are also going to have some new rules
for their super rugby restart (whenever that happens) - very
       rugby league like
       - ’50-22'. Attacking teams will receive a lineout throw if
they kick the ball from within their own half into touch inside
their opponent’s 22, providing the ball takes a bounce
       before heading out of bounds
       - dropouts taken from the try line instead of the 22-metre if
the defending player touches the ball down inside the goal area.
       - adopt the same red card rule as the New Zealand competition.

Combine all these faster, quicker, more running/passing
innovations with the current brouhaha about scrums, I fear we
are going to end up with a sort of glorified 15 a side Sevens
Rugby. Or 13 a side...now what should we call that?

New Rugby? Should be ok until we invade Iraq to force it on the
       population there.

Is it just me that feel's every season the laws get changed to
help the way New Zealand want to play the game!

The rule change I don’t like is ‘roll away towards the side
line’. I suspect all that will do is encourage any players
supporting the attack to block off the side of the ruck closest
to the side line to prevent the tackler rolling away ‘correctly’
and winning cheap penalties. It seems too open to exploitation.
