My mate and I have been attending for roughly ten years now, the
experience is slightly sanitised now but I guess it's part of
the game being more professional. I just hope that the game
doesn't go massively away from its roots like other sports
       unfortunately have.

Still remember the days I/we could stand in the corners with
Mad-Max joining in. Went to Eshers ground last season and sat on
the grass bank facing the tunnel/stand with a couple of quid
pint and burger, oh and wasn't the visit during the relegation
to the Cornish Pirates fun… reminiscing!

Agree with most of this! Similarly won't be renewing but instead
buy on the day, if a Saturday. Still a big Quins fan but the
Season Ticket is no longer the right kind of ticket for me.
I would expect that one of the benefits of the new
professionalism (that you so dislike), is that they would come
up with some innovative season ticket options/packages,
       especially given Covid etc.
If 10% of the 9,000 season ticket holders drop-out at a minimum
£500 pa (inc beers) they stand to lose almost £1/2m.
But they’re stuck between a rock and a hard place – if they tell
us now what they’re thinking of, that’s a disincentive to renew
exactly when they most desperately need the cash. And if someone
were to renew now, and then Quins released new options to regain
that 10%, those early subscribing season ticket holders might be
       a little aggrieved.

For me, I had to consider many factors.
       1. I am working at a company that has taken a bit hit from the
current crisis and they may need to cut staff
       2. I miss the DJ, access to players lounge and actually being
able to see the band on the stage.
       3. The costs have risen significantly for me over the years.
Due to moving from family tickets to concessions, etc.
Anyway, I have ignored all of those factors and this morning,
renewed my memberships - so, you are stuck with me for another
       year at least :-)

If only 10% of members do not renew, I do not think the club
will be too unhappy. They have said many times recently that
they lose match day revenue because of a low % of members
attending. Memberships are also cheaper than individual match
sales. So whilst there will be a drop in revenue on memberships
alone, I do not think 10% would be a bad outcome all things
       considered.

I seem to recall that the club expected a churn of STHs of
around 10% each year as well, with some moving to cheaper seats
& others moving to buying individual tickets for games etc.
