Of course we're going to give him time but this has also crossed
my mind. Sarries' defence hasn't exactly deteriorated since he
left them to join England - whose defence hasn't exactly gone
from strength to strength during his time there. Were reports of
his influence on the "wolf pack" exaggerated or misinformed? I
guess we'll find out. I do want to give him a few months before
really ripping into him though. ;)

What needs fixing is the players attitude.Whether PG can do that
is anyone’s guess.A public announcement from him on actions
taken before the Sale game would be welcome. If the attitude in
that game is the same the chances are it’s not fixable with the
current squad-best ever JK said. One swallow etc but Glasgow was
a very poor start for the new Coaching team.Concerned.

IMO the team culture seems rotten to the core. There is a
complacency, combined with a lack of imagination and leadership,
along with confidence that has been shot to pieces. It's going
to take time to fix but I think we finally are moving in the
       right direction set-up wise.

I keep wondering why they talk as if playing Ealing was going to
be the toughest warm up game. Surely that would be Glasgow?

Tom Buck Quin I think you have mis-understood Billy Millard is
admin and will get the players Mr Gustard wants he will not go
off and just recruit his own people. Although he might bring
someone to his attention. I don’t understand how you can
suddenly throw away any semblance of defence - think George Lowe
days. Basic spacial awareness should be a given in rugby the Baa
Baas manage a ‘sort of defence’ in days. Last season we saw good
defence to start and then it fell apart due to lack of fitness.
Maybe they should go back to basics and purchase meters or yards
of elastic to keep them all together.

It's a lot to do with the on-field mentality. How do you respond
to a setback? Jan to May 2018, Quins always looked up for games
and were competitive for the first half. However, when things
went wrong (conceding a try/losing a man) the boys took it hard
and then looked susceptible to conceding again and again. Which
seems to have been the case on Saturday as well.
It, therefore, needs a bit of mental toughness and determination
from the boys. A collective belief that 'that won't happen
again', and then making sure it doesn't! Easier said than done,
       I know!
I have a lot of faith and belief in the players and am
optimistic about Gustard's approach. The team can always have
'Remember Glasgow' as their warning catchphrase when adversity
       comes their way next season!
As fans, we can give the boys a huge lift in the next two games.
All summer the talk has been about how amazing the atmosphere is
at the Stoop. I am excited about getting back there!

Yeah it’s odd - maybe because it’s the last one before the
season, home game, presume we’ll start close to our first XV???
       Seems odd certainly

I too looked at the highlights and it was identical to the
       second half of the season.
As soon as our heads drop, at whatever point of the game, the
opposition score again (and again and again).
I naively thought that the new coaching set up would improve the
defence straight away, but clearly this has something to do with
what is inside the players heads.
There seems to be a lack of a real leader, both when the
internationals are playing and when they are not. I seem to
remember at the start of last season Marcus Smith in the middle
of the huddle shouting at everyone. I never see senior players
       do that!
Not trying to be too controversial but i do think there is a
clique amongst the senior players, which in my opinion has
affected the whole squad since we won the premiership.
Should we have let some of the 'big names' go at the end of last
       season?
